[Az-Geocaching] Mo' bettah caches!

I can still remember shaking my head in disbelief the first time we drove
all the way across town to look under a mail box and find an altoids
container! I was thrilled! Same for light pole caches!

We still remember our first ones, too, Terry, (thanks, Frobro Goose and Team
CBx2!) and we've been at it a little longer.

In one respect caches are like bumper stickers on cars. The first time you
see one that strikes your fancy, you're telling everyone you know about it.
By the dozenth/hundredth/thousandth time you've seen the same thing, it's
moved into the "lame" category.

Same thing with internet jokes that get passed around via email. First time
you see it, it's a chuckle. But by the time my wife's mother sends her the
same joke, Judi (AKA the Cacher-in-Chief) is calling it "momspam".

I think the "lame-icity" of a cache needs to be filtered through the
experience level of the cacher proclaiming lameness. But I have to confess
I'd make one exception. I don't ever recall encountering a lame ammo can in
the desert or woods.
