I was speaking from a general perspective, not only related to geocaching. For exaple, I still prefer to use "outdated" modes like sending out hand-written thank you notes and greeting cards via (*GASP*) the Post Office.... but have had no complaints.
Obviously, virtually NOTHING about geocaching would work post-EMP.
I guess my point was.....technology is mostly a fine thing, but don't lose your ability to function without it. Paper map and compass, for example.
