Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] Needed: advice for my first GPS
We are low tech ourselves. Our first and only gps is a cheap yellow garmin etrex. We have been caching since Aug of 2002, and have had a lot of use out of it, for only $119. No maps, but that doesnt bother us. How much tech do you want with your gps? We sometimes consider upgrading, but havent yet.

I really don't want to spend more than $200 for the first one. I would like to know just a couple of things to look for in a system. Someone told me that I should be able to interface with my computer at home. So basically I don't know much but would appreciate a few heads on what to buy. If I get a user friendly GPS I know it would be a short order to get a more advanced one. Thanks for any tips.

Till a voice, as bad as Conscience, rang interminable changes
On one everlasting Whisper day and night repeated -- so:
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges --
"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"
