I'm betting the beam is too large to concentrate on such a small area to
render just that inoperable. If there is 'splashback' effect from it, they
need to take that sucker out to a large empty plot of land for testing.
Otherwise, one wrong activation and you're bringing down vital
communications or airliners.

Now...how 'bout fixin' that up to render ATM's useless...although still
continue to spit out the $$. You could aim it at the camera.....
