Subject: RE: [Az-Geocaching] K9 cachers and stuff
The only ones we really don't like taking Gidget on are the ones in cholla
fields, though she has had her share of cactus needles in her and she does
her best to avoid the cholla. If we come upon an area that is filled with
cholla and she is with us, we will forego the cache for another time when
she is not with us. And of course we don't take her with us if we know the
cache is in a Mesa Park. Also, now that summer is here in full force, please
don't leave your dog in the car for a "quick" cache. You never know how
"quick" a cache can be, and bring plenty of water for you and your dog. We
have a backpack for Gidget and she carries her own water and collapsible
bowl.
