[Az-Geocaching] Needed: advice for my first GPS

Now I'm convinced that Scott is using a GPS Garmin gave him just so long as 
he took any conceivable opportunity to 'sell' them to cachers.  :)  But 
before I bite, where are my Ginsu knives?
