[Az-Geocaching] Mo' bettah caches!

A hike I have planned for this summer will be just that. It will be approx.
6 miles round trip at about 10k feet to snag a FTF on a cache near Silver
Lake in the Beartooth Mountains. There isn't as much in terms of elevation
variances here, with Billings being on the fringe of the 'Great Plains'
region. Most of the mountains are west of here about an hour or so and
beyond. Those hikes will certainly rank among my more memorable cache
experiences, as the scenery just makes the hike all the more worth it.

I think it has something to do with having some time and effort invested in
the search. If we go out and fail to find an urban micro, I don't really
feel all that bad. However, if I have driven a ways, hiked some, and have
some real effort invested, I am going to try a little harder to find the
cache, and with that comes a little greater satisfaction in the find.
