[Az-Geocaching] Jeremy signed it!!and other geo-history stories!!!

I have a "cache larvae" box (plastic index card box painted with
geo-cache logo design) signed by Jeremy Irish and his companions
from that same trip in 9/01, that I picked up in a cache in Jerome
(that no longer exists). I did use some of the cache larvae
contents to start another cache, and even sent a piece of a
necklace back to Jeremy as an un official TB last year (have no
idea where it is....no one has ever emailed me about it as
instructed on the card with it....the other half hangs on my rear
view mirror)

Anyway....it is pretty cool to have some of "geocaching history"
for those of us "old timers" who remember the history in the first
place! (I started putting caches out in 7/01, but I have moved the
originals around and replaced them here and there....however, my
first geo-partner, Flash, ("the VooDoos") still has some of his
original caches active around Prescott. It's amazing to think it
has been 4 years! Flash and I were the FTF on Wyle E's Camp Wood
Cache on 7/2/01, that was Larry and Connie's first cache, placed
6/23/01, NW of Prescott up by Juniper Mesa. (GCD81). It was almost
a year later until the next finder, LINCOLN....anyone remember
him?? found it on 4/17/02.

Also, a few on the list will remember CBx2's campout event on the
Rim (Aug 11 2001 weekend)....and the "4 team assault" on that Rim
RR Depot cache (GC360) on that vertical cliff. Some very nice
memories of friends and adventure!

PS.....Loran, I still have a Team Sand Dollar "tin" (delicate sand
dollar inside) proudly displayed on my geo-trinket shelf, along
with a couple kokopelli's (thanks 'Meister'!) and a few other
things, next to the box signed by Jeremy. Geez.....what a geo-geek
am I!
