Did anyone else catch the irony of the quote? =D I think I'm with you on this though. The only thing that should be left for them during their illicit journey into the US is the sand/cactus in between here and there.

Anyone run into the Minutemen down there on the Mexican border yet?

I was reading an article about the Minutemen, and had to laugh when someone from the Border Patrol was quoted as saying they "Now have to deal with untrained civilians who are unfamiliar with the terrain"....I would be willing to bet many of the Minutemen have seen actual combat and are better-trained survivalists than the Border Patrol agents...lots of photos of the Minutemen out there on ATVs with spotting scopes and radios...they look very well organized, and reported that illegal crossings attempts were waaaaay down...oh, yes, they DID show a picture of a Border Patrol Agent at work, outside his air-conditioned vehicle, picking up all the TRASH left by illegals...guess you need to have special training for that...LMAO...
They also showed a DIFFERENT type of volunteer (sissy boy tree-hugger type), filling up a water station on our side of the border, to help thirsty illegals continue on their way over here. Unbelievable! Why don't they just start a limo service and let them watch DVDs and sip champagne while getting here ILLEGALLY...I am not heartless, but this "helping and encouraging" them along the way should be "aiding and abetting"...anyone who helps to facilitate a criminal act (in this case, crossing illegally) should be prosecuted, right? Water stations...gimme a break!
Flame away, I don't care. I stand by my opinion.
