Scott,

I also have an Etrax Legend. One thing to try is to go to the Main Menu,
select Setup, then select Interface. This must be set to Garmin in order to
work with Garmin products.  This setting may have changed if you used other
software such as Microsoft Streets and Trips.

If this does not work, try calling Garmin support (they provide excellent
phone support).
