When I was at Mesa Ranger Station the other day, the ranger was telling 
me about the GPSr that they hope to buy next year...with satellite 
email built in!  He explained-- when they are in very rugged terrain 
surveying, they can't always contact each other on radios.  With the 
new units, they can just email each other!
Can you imagine the possibilities!?!?!?!
