[Az-Geocaching] RE: Different Strokes For Different Folks

We totally agree with Brian's comments about this cache. There really are no
rules stating that only kid friendly caches are appropriate for
geocaching.com. In fact, his point emphasizes the key issue that although
we all appreciate the unpaid volunteers effort in supporting the sport and
website maybe they let their personal beliefs spill over onto
geocaching.com. As Brian points our there already is at least one Arizona
listed "Adult Only" cache on the site. Is it to be instantly removed by one
of the volunteers? We think it is a great idea that there are a wide
variety of caches to attract a wide variety of cachers and suggest
ArizFunCouple contact Jeremy directly for his
official" position on the matter. I also agree with Brian that not being a
charter member does not mean you do not support the sport. Although we are
members I have gained no real value from it. We two have spent hundreds of
dollars on geocache logo'd items to leave in caches and apparel to
demonstrate and spread the word of geocaching. I would assume Jeremy has
gained significantly more revenue from Brian's purchases then the $30
membership fee. The issues point out that geocaching is many things to
many people and there are many ways to support sport.
