[Az-Geocaching] What to do if you find a travel bug in a cache that has not yet been logged into that cache? Answer here

Why not simply post a note to the travel bug log
saying you retrieved it but will wait a day or two for
the original hider to log their visit but that the bug
is safe in your possession? This way the log is
completely accurate for who had the bug when.

I can understand doing this if perhaps the person
NEVER logs it, but in your example the bug should be
logged within a day or two after the drop off and the
plane lands. **note I didn't look at the links and
didn't read any of the examples** But I can say I'd
be a little peeved if I got home to log my dropping
off the bug to find it had been done for me by
somebody else just because I hadn't been able to do it
yet.
