Hello Earnest,

Thanks for the note.. We are actually on the west side of Prescott near
Williamson Valley and Pioneer Parkway. I try to get on to the Knobby
Knee net at 0700 each morning on 147.22 up on Mingus Mt. I also have
the 3727 node of the Win System repeater in my garage for the time
being. Someday it will go up on Mingus Mt. and I will serve it with a
link radio.

I got my ticket in 1964 and my wife got hers a few years ago. My call
is WB6ODR and hers is KD7EEO. I have been up on the 2100 net from time
to time, I'll give a listen tonight off Mt. Eldon.

You might take a look at http://www.w7yrc.org for a list of other freqs
in this area and one of our favorite web site is about our miniature
horse drill team http://www.minimystique.org Took them to the Rose
Parade for the last 2 years.

We also have a personal web site at http://myweb.cableone.net/lrsmith
shows a little more of our horses and our Geocaching stats.

73 for now,

Bob Smith WB6ODR, Prescott, AZ

Bob & Linda:

Greetings from Queen Creek!

I'm also a ham and have been since 1983, call is:
KA9UCE

I see you are in Prescott valley, but that's not
impossible to reach on either 440 or one of the many
mountain sites, like Ord, which has a link to Mt.
Elden as you are probably well aware.

I reside on the Pinal peak 900 machine( 927.8375) as
well as the Signal peak UHF system (449.650).

I'm also active on 432 USB, but presently QRP at 10
watts.

Pop in on the 2100 net at 9PM and check in to the
round table..

Just a laid-back net for telling everybody about our
day, and to just chat as well.

It runs daily at the same time, pretty much 365...with
the exception of some holidays(net control is 'who's
available' at those times).

Just wanted to drop a note to say HELLO and nice to
know there are other hams involved with geocaching, as
I am.

Have a great weekend and I look forward to chatting
with you in the future!

73!

Ernest
