Don't worry, it's only a mild, temporary insanity caused by short
daylight hours.
The reduced retinal UV exposure, combined with inadequate caching time
drives otherwise 'normal' cachers to post somewhat questionable 'items'
to the list. It usually subsides when those cachers find the time to get
new batteries for their flashlights and go night-caching.
