I have a friend looking for a GPS to be used primarily for driving
directions to addresses mounted in a car but also able to use portable for
geocaching. Does anyone know of a GPS for cars that can be used to enter
addresses and get directions and also allows input of waypoints for
geocaching?

If price is no object, they may want to consider the new Garmin Nuvi. Right
around $1,000 depending on the sales tax rate. Language translator and
European travel guide optional at additional cost. Weighs 5 ounces, about
the size of a deck of cards, supports SD cards, has a built-in MP3 player,
