Socks? Shoes? I use sandals, even in the desert. Managed not to get stuck yet, except in Prescott of all places lol.
What is the hat preference out there? I have a nice beige gilligan hat. 100% cotton, comfy and shady.

So what kind of socks does everyone where geocaching???
I personally find the Hanes to be quite comfy..granted not good at repelling those little clear sticker thorns from some of the caches around S Mtn but you can't have it all can you?
When I was caching in TN I had on jeans, hiking boots, and I still go stickers in the socks. Someone needs to come up with some sort of thorny plant repellent besides a remote control, A/C, and a couch.

"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"
