At the last event we discussed having the next one on April 16th, CITO day.
I'm still planning on that and hope to get the event posted in the next
week.

originally signed up for the Adopt-A-Highway program, we were given a one
mile stretch of the northbound side of the highway. When we arrived to do
our initial cleanup on 4/17/04 (INAUGURAL ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY CLEANUP), we
noticed that we were also given the southbound side (our sign was on both
sides of the highway). Since we hadn't signed up for, or planned on doing
both sides of the highway, we concentrated on the northbound side, and
spotted the southbound side.

side of the highway, which was last cleaned on 7/11/04 (over 8 months ago).
It's possible this side of the highway does look bad! If I remember
correctly, we're supposed to do our cleanups every three months. So far
we've been staggering our cleanups because we've been given two sides of the
highway instead of the one side that we signed up for.
