OK, I have been doing some more reading....

The Garmin GPS 18 with Nroute software and Mapsource City Select software
costs about $125. Has anyone used this? Will it work with my existing
Mapsource United States Topo software? Is it a good solution?

Thanks,

Bill in Willcox

Rumor has it that I am getting a notebook computer (PC compatible, Win XP)
for Christmas. What have people here found to be a "best" solution as to
PCMCIA GPS units, software, or other alternatives? Any hard earned wisdom
will be much appreciated.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays,

Bill in Willcox
