Here is an interesting article. The European GPS system has been given the
go-ahead for deployment. The EU and the US have signed an agreement to allow
jamming of each other's signals in battlefields. The system works the same
as the US system, so we should expect more satellites and better coverage in
areas that are currently difficult.
