Steve, you beat me to that correction!

Sure, anybody and "google" and translate Morse or any other code in
writing, but Morse code is an AUDITORY code. You have to HEAR it by
ear, and SEND it manually. Only "real" radio operators (Ham and
military, etc) can do that.

I can usually tell someone who uses a translator to "write" Morse
code, because they include alot of fancy punctuation characters
(Squishy did't this time) that REAL Morse folks don't normally bother
with.
