Hopefully the later, but in either case, the pirate(s) was never heard
from again that I know of. I can tell you that the plundered contents
of my cache were never returned. So much for that grand story about
moving them and leaving clues. Guess the pirate just likes to collect
geocaching treasures.

What ever happened with that... did the pirate(s) just go away, never to

be heard from again, or did someone kill them?
Did the caches that were plundered ever get returned?
