I would recomend you also consider a magellan meridian it is larger and heavier than the garmins, but it is good unit Frys electronics has them for i believe 119 that is with the cable.The meridians have wass mapping and expandeble memory. I dont really beleive any unit is more accurate than any other so it depends on what bells you want and how much you wanna spend.

For the cost of a yellow etrex + cable (which you don't get with it) you can usually get the eTrex Venture which comes with a cable. Also the eTrex Venture does/stores more than the yellow eTrex, has WAAS, etc.
