I don't have one of these units, but i've had resonable luck with
similar problems by using rubber cement (Like you use on paper).
The trick is to put a thin layer of rubber cement on both sides of the
surface and then let it dry without putting it together. Once it's dry
THEN stick the 2 surfaces together and you will have a much stronger
seal than if you just put down a glob of it and pressed both sides together.
It's at least worth a try, you can easily rub it off if it doesn't work
like you want.
