I've figured out the problem. It happens only when I send mail via Cox webmail, not my home e-mail. If that isn't a good enough explanation, feel free to revert back to my senility conspiracy.

But maybe I&#8217;m getting a little closer.

Today I got seven messages from Brian when I downloaded my
email (BTW, I use Outlook 2002 under XP Pro). Five of the messages had the
literal &#8220;Brian Casteel&#8221; in the &#8220;From&#8221; header. None of
them had attachments. Two of them had only your email address in the &#8220;From&#8221;
header &#8211; and one of those two was delivered as an attachment.
