Bryon,

You are correct it is doable in a car. It just like a better road on the
map than it realy is and it will take a while to do the drive.

Yeah. it's a wash bored road but it's still very doable in a car. (Unless
you drive some slammed rice rocket) i've seen cars on both roads to Crown
King. I also saw the new all wheel drive station wagon going down the
trail from CK to lake Pleasant. the guys driving the car were part of the
field test team doing the final road tests on the car. I forget the make
and modle though. the car cam out this past model year. Anyway. I was in
a Pinzgauer coming up the trail. we had to guide them down "The Step". my
friends and I were betting on weather or not they would make it. (They
did. I lost)

Take Seneter Highway down to Crown King and have lunch or dinner at a
little place there called The Mill. It's a long drive from Prescott but
the food there is well worth the drive. they are only open friday, Sat,
Sun so go early. the menu is what ever they take up for the weekend so can
change from week to week and also from day to day depending on whats on
hand. but the food is great. Or you can take the bumble bee turn off
from I-17 and get there that way. it's alot faster.

wrote:A question for the Prescott locals...

Shawna and I have decided to spend the weekend there. Can you give me a
few non-geocaching ideas of things to do or see, favorite restaurants, or
anything along those lines? She will shoot me if I make her cache the
whole time!

Thanks in advance!
