Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] cache transfer

I hope others will do the same. 7th Avenue Wash is a good one and seems to have been abandoned but unofficially taken care of. There are other caches too like this. It's simple to do, just try once contacting the owner and post a note at the same time on the cache page. Then after a couple of weeks e-mail geocaching.com and tell them it is abandoned and you want to adopt it. We've adopted 2 caches this way, and a third by mutual consent.

Congratulations Gale and Mike! Big Blue's Helper is a fun and (could be) challenging cache for some! I'm glad to see that you have shown an interest in reactivating it. There have been a lot of good caches fall by the wayside due to the owners loss of interest. This cache seemed to be popular in the two months that it lasted (36 finds).
