Subject: Re: [Az-Geocaching] Wyle B Operative

I feared this debate would come up eventually. I thought long and hard about the phrase "Central Arizona". I wanted to leave some room for flexibility. I personally don't mind if a given operative 'strays' south or any other direction for a little while. I feel that they will eventually end up back in the Phoenix area before long, if for no other reason that target cache is in the Phoenix area. I suppose if someone in the Phoenix area really wants the operative, they could go on a "rescue mission".

At this point, I personally would prefer not to have multiple sets of the travelers. I don't say this to try to exclude Tucson cachers or any other cachers. The variability of one set of travelers, adds to the elusive nature of the cache. This isn't a cache that is likely to be done in a day, week or even a month. That is part of the fun.

I would encourage cachers from anywhere in the state to go for this cache. I'm impressed that Tucson cachers are willing to participate. I'm less concerned about the operatives spending time in Tucson as long as they are moving. As long as the operatives are moving on a regular basis, people have opportunity to find them.

Happy Hunting,
