I believe every owner of a travel bug enjoys seeing their bug on the move (even if the bug isn't heading towards its goal). It's irritating to see cachers grab a bug and hold onto it with the thought that in a few months they may be planning a trip and want to take it with them. It's also irritating to TB owners when they notice that someone has placed their bug in a cache that is difficult to get to and doesn't get visited frequently.
We should think how we would feel if we were the TB owner before we hold onto a bug or place it in a cache that may not get a visitor for a few months.

. . . So, we've been pretty lucky with them so far, but having them spend months in a cache is nothing new...or having them spend months in the hands of a cacher is nothing new either.

Well it's my cache, I know where it is, but I won't be able to get up there til the weekend....if anyone wants to do the hike, it's a great hike, ask anyone who's done it, before then, contact me and I'll give you the coordinates, otherwise, I'll get up there Sat morning.

If anyone does retrieve it, we are going to CA at the end on June.

While perusing the geocaching forums, I saw this plea for help. Can anyone help? I pasted the request below, but the forum link is also here.
http://ubbx.groundspeak.com/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=5726007311&f=4416058331&m=36760226 One of my travel bugs has been stranded in the "Rocket Men and Machines" cache near Mesa, AZ since April 15. While this sounds like a cache I would thoroughly enjoy finding, it's not been visited since that day.
Is there anyone willing to pick up my TB and move it along on it's way? It's trying to get to Los Gatos, CA, but moving it to a more frequently visited cache would be sufficient.
Thanks!
