Subject: [Az-Geocaching] Fire Restrictions beginning
I was reading the paper this morning and found some information on new fire restrictions being implemented throughout the state.

Beginning Friday, Tonto and Prescott national forests are closing, this includes:

a.. Bradshaw Ranger District in the Bradshaw Mountaints southeast of Prescott, known as the Castle Creek Wilderness and Horsethief Basin Area.
b.. Areas near Pine and Strawberry, from Tonto Natural Bridge (the park is not closed) north to the Mogollon Rim, west of state Highway 87 ,and in the Pinal Mountains south of Globe.
Campfire and smoking restrictions remain in place in the Tonto National Forest north of Forest Road 64, east to state Highway 260 to the top of the Mogollon Rim.

Additional information can be obtained at http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/fire/swainfo/firerestrictions/swa_restrictions_closures.htm
