OK... figured it out. The difference is the people, like trisha for
example, that haven't set a name to go with their e-mail address.

Basicly, the mailing list tries to get rid of people's e-mail addresses
to protect their privacy, but if you haven't set a name, there is no
information left identifying the sender, so it appears that it just
defaults to putting the mailing list address in place of the name.
