We were out caching when we heard the news. I knew someone who worked on the computer systems on board the Columbia in her early days. Through him, I got to know her quite well. It kinda feels a little personal. Though of course the loss of the shuttle is nothing compared to the astronauts who lost their lives today. We grieve for their families.
