It is worth it if 100 times the effort equates to 1000 times the results! Visual Basic can produce very useful and professional results in many cases, but does it's ease of use necessarily make it better than C++?

My map, compass, and pencil are better than your Garmin... :) (That's like when
somebody uses a *nix OS and claims it's better even though they spend 100 times
as much effort keeping it running)...
