Yeah, it would have even stunk if it would have failed on the freeway a few
hundred miles from home. I guess the bright side to it failing is that I
am now thinking of doing the engine swap that I have always wanted to
do. I can't see putting a lot of time or money into the 35 year old inline
6 engine when I can put in the 300 horse small block chevy that I already
have for it.

I had the same thing happen to my car a few years ago. They had to change
the whole fuel tank sender unit out. The part was $400 by itself. Ouch!!!!
