I don't trust rechargeable batteries (they don't have the strength as alkaline batteries). I change my batteries when the power drops under 50% on my etrex battery indicator.

After getting near a few caches and getting pointed in the general direction of the cache we at Team Evil Fish were able to log a find, but after getting the satellite kicked out of us and me on two cache attempts I came to the realization that my sight really needs checked, I blame the batteries..
Allright I finally broke down and reinvested in new batteries, bought the Energizer MAX was that a good choice? there was talk about Re-chargeable ones but what brands and types of AA do you all prefer??
