I caught and released a rattlesnake at summer camp this summer. The girls
at camp found it about sunset between the girls village and the restrooms!
They were very glad to see it gone! The really funny part was the look on
the firemen's faces when I showed up at the firestation with it. They asked
if I would mind taking it out of town a few miles and releasing it. I know
that here in the Valley of the Sun, the fire department is called when a
snake is found on your premises, so just figured the same applied in
Prescott! LOL

I'd still like to see another rattle snake on the trail, but I'm not
sure I would purposely go looking for one again.

Over the years that I have lived in Arizona I have come across a few. I
prefer to see them from a little distance, but there have been a couple
times...
