Don't forget that the individual permit only covers you. If you and a
partner goes it doesn't cover them even if they are in your vehicle. Also
the family permit only covers your immediate family, again it will not cover
your buddy even if they are in your vehicle. I've heard stories of many
many people getting tickets now up to $500.

Can you just go down to the office on Adams and get a permit, or does it
take days for the application to be approved/processed?
