Looks like it was definatly a problem with the theme itself..... I
accidentally put the variable "location" instead of "link", so the link was
set to nothing which the browser treats as a link to the current page.

Oh well.... all fixed. Please let me know if you find anything else that is
acting weird.
One thing that I am especially curious about is if when you set a theme,
does it stay that theme when you come back the the page after a couple of
day, or after a reboot... etc etc.... it should...
