I admire your desire to allow firefighters in Phoenix to see it. But,
if I place him in a Phoenix cache, it probably won't be going to a
firefighter. It'll be a race between Phoenix geocachers to see who gets
to it first.

(1) I think the intent of the cache is to move towards NYC. There is a
time constraint. For Courage to get there (by motor vehicle), it must
first go to either Flagstaff or Tucson. I'm willing to get him into a
Tucson cache Friday morning. I'm not stretching the 24 hour rule by
much. My opinion is that getting Courage towards NYC is more important.

(2) Courage came into my possession 1/15 at 12:30 PM. This morning
(1/16) at 6 AM Courage came into the possession of n4/c via a cache
(less than 24 hours). At 9 AM Courage came back into my possession
(same cache). Therefore, my 24 hours ends tomorrow (Thursday-1/17) at 9
AM. That means I'll be holding Courage 24-27 hours over the stated
period. But, I am moving him 100-120 miles closer (measured via
interstate highway mileage) to NYC.

(3) There are firefighters in Tucson. Since Courage is currently in my
possession, I do have some decision about how I move him. I say give
the folks in Tucson a chance with him.

(4) My Blue Heaven has given me some info on public internet access in
the Tucson area. I will be placing Courage in either my first or second
cache (given that the hiding place will hold him) and going straight to
the library to log his location.

(5) You've already had possession of Courage. You've already had an
opportunity to move him closer to NYC or give him to Phoenix area
firefighters.

(6) The purpose of this cache is to move it to NYC, not give the maximum
number of people the opportunity to log a find on him.
