I think that this just illustrates how public and
permanent Internet activities are. Total privacy on
the Internet can't be assured, especially once you
post information and send e-mail. Everyone is aware
that the messages to this list are archived, right?
And there's no need for name calling on this issue
either, just because someone asked nicely and gave an
opinion. I would hope that we're all mature enough to
respect differing opinions.
I don't think Team Snaptek is liable to do anything
with the geocaching info that they harvest but having
a way to opt out of the harvest would be a nice
feature.
