To all geocachers;
The T824 Table Mesa Cache was Arizona's 2nd cache, and is still active.
Since 10/8/2000, this cache has been found only 6 times!
If you would like to participate in a group cache hunt for the T824 Table
Mesa cache (GC7B), let's meet at 9:00am on Sunday (12/16/01). We'll meet at
the parking area on the East side of I-17 at exit 236 (Table Mesa Rd).
We'll be driving to the cache area on FR41 from the West (I-17) side, which
requires 4WD. The road isn't bad, but there is a hill that might be a
challenge to some, and a few sections crossing rocky stream beds (wet and
dry). Last time I lead this trail, we spent a lot of time helping a 2WD
Suburban up the hill and crossing some washes. This trip, I'd rather spend
the time looking for the cache.
We'll be on CB channel 4, and will leave the parking area at 9:15am. As a
reminder, be prepared with proper gear, water, and food. We'll probably be
at the cache area around lunch time. Read the cache page for further info on
this challenging cache. Plan on it being an all day trip.
I'll be there, and leaving the parking area at 9:15am. Hopefully, this will
be our 200th cache find! Hope to see you there!

Sounds good Larry, I need to hit those also, but for some unknown reason I
also have to do Harrys Hideaway and REDO Estralla Mt. , but the Sunday trip
sounds good.

Let's go! I have an empty shotgun seat this weekend. Connie wants to XMas
shop. The road from the West isn't bad for a 4WD. I've driven the road from
the West a few times. We've driven MUCH more difficult trails.
I'm tentively planning on hitting Puz-Zel's new "Blue" trio of caches
tomorrow (Saturday). We'll hit cache 200 on Sunday and Table Mesa sounds as
good as any. Let me know if anyone wants to ride or drive along (either
day).

I almost want to ask to go along to table mesa again just to be able to ride
in WyleE on that road :) Thats sounds like fun.. especially if you decide
to take the west side in.
