Don't you agree that most "innocent" people who "happen" upon each other
in the bush would either greet one another, and/or go their individual
ways? I don't think that you overreacted. I have come across stills,
pot gardens, and once a porn library while wandering off-trail. We MUST
appear to be more than casual hikers when we are lingering in an area
with GPS, cell phone, or other visible equipment (cache containers,
etc.). To a crook, who has a purpose in the woods, and doesn't know
ours, WE are the suspicious characters.
