[Az-Geocaching] Trimming Posts

Well, if you want to get into the semantics of it, the problem lies in
e-mail program settings. For example, in Outlook2k3, the option is buried 2
layers deep to change the setting to reply to messages with the previous
contents listed below the text reply (or not). The depth by which MS makes
you dig for these changes can intimidate users who may not understand what
they're looking at. Remember, not everyone is an IT freak, and while we can
all find caches with the best of 'em, there are things that everyone at some
point needs help with.

Perhaps in a few of those cases, it might be with where to find the settings
to change it. For all we know, there could be at least one person out there
who thought it was 'always that way' and had no idea such a setting existed
to remove the previous message text in their response.

Now, I kept the previous 2 paragraphs PC for the sake of argument, but this
one I'm not. First of all, if you want someone to take you seriously, you
must first earn their respect. Ranting and insulting 98% of the people who
read/post here with your first ever post on the listserv isn't the way to
earn said respect. Also, using demeaning language like what is contained in
your last paragraph is certainly not the approach to use if you want ANYONE
to take you seriously. I hardly think you're going to make friends in this
circle with that level of insulting sarcasm. Oh, and to add insult to
injury, it's dilEmma.
