[Az-Geocaching] Please, don't violate my civil rights by searching me without probable cause

I personally wouldn't mind if my day pack was searched by a forest ranger, before heading down the trail. Couldn't they allow NONSMOKING day hikers in? Can any of the forestry or fire-fighting people give me a specific instance of a forest fire that was started by a day hiker?

I believe that this is a violation of my civil rights, based on the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.  We can't allow authorities to search us on public lands whenever they feel like it.
Also, it is essential to carry matches and fire starter with you on a hike in the backcountry, because having the ability to build a fire could save your life if you get lost or stranded in bad weather.  Matches and fire starter are listed as two of the 10 Essentials for hikers according to The Colorado Mountain Club.
