We decided to have a bachelor party of sorts for Brian since he was getting married that weekend, and thus the name of the cache. So we though we would make a day of it and go out exploring and hiking maybe hide a cache while we were there. Eric recommend a spot out in Queen Creek area where people go to practice rock climbing. There are many bolders of all different sizes out here and cliff walls to climb on, looks like a really great place to practice climbing for beginners and advanced people.
The cache is near the Oak Flat. Head East on US 60 out toward Superior. After going through Superior continue until you pass through the Queen Creek Tunnel. After the tunnel it is about 2 miles to the Oak Flat campgrounds turn off on the right. There is paved road that you can take pretty much to the camp ground and you can park there. From this point the cache is roughly a 1.25 mile hike, if you follow the dirt road. If you have a high clearance vehicle or 4x4 you can drive to a lot closer to the cache at the following coords (N33 18.137 W111 03.197). From there it is nice 0.5 mile hike to the cache. There is a trail of sort leaving from this area down toward a pretty nice camping spot (N33 18.079 W111 03.185) near the creek bed which you can follow quite a ways to the cache. There is a cool climbing overhang cliff at (N33 18.038 W111 03.103) you can check out. The cache is up away from this probably well visited area.
The cache is in a metal tin container from what appears to be an old amaretto "Disaronno" gift set or something? (Hans provide the cache and most of the contents) The cache is located near the base of scraggly looking shrub type tree against a big boulder and some rocks. There are alot of goodies in the cache.
Have fun!!!
