[Az-Geocaching] Adopting a cache

I see there are no fences to sit on in Montana are there....

I still consider the Silly Mountain Hike and Midnight caching stroll a Way
fun time to spend time with you...not to mention the Prescott run.

Beside aint the internet world wide??

If Montana is not far enough away for the young there is Michigan Minnesota
Iowa Guam...

Since you decided to so rudely go there, let's dance.

I cut my teeth caching August 23, 2001 finding my first cache in the
Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, AZ. I found my first 911 finds in Arizona
before I made a choice to move my wife and kids closer to her family in
Billings, and 2 hours SE in Sheridan, WY. A few of my caches are still
active in Arizona, and I started the Adopt-A-Highway for Arizona
Geocachers on the Beeline Highway near Gilbert Road.

Jake started in caching a little less than a year before you and has 78
fewer finds than you. But his participation in caching doesn't need to
meet some criteria that you set forth as valid for being an active
participant. Jake runs geocoin-info.net, a one stop shopping place for
all things Geocoin knowledge. It is a featured site in a sticky thread
on the Groundspeak Forums, specifically the fourth thread down in the
Geocoin Discussions area. He attends quite a few event caches, and
brings his coin collection along to show others, and spends most of his
time at those events providing information and guidance on the geocoin
process. He and I designed the AZ Geocoin, and have designed our own
personal coin, among other projects not yet public knowledge. There
is/was a caching team in Canada who has ZERO finds, but plenty of hides,
so do they not cache enough?

You have 400 finds in over 4 years, so who are you to criticize how much
someone caches if you're barely pushing one cache per week? Pot? The
kettle is calling. Perhaps you go for the more difficult caches, so
more power to you. Despite that, you have no business criticizing how
often someone goes out and caches. Despite your ranking on the Deep
Southwest Caching Project, one could argue the case that you hardly
cache as well, so you might want to choose your words more carefully.

You can say that we're so 'vocal' on the azgc listserv, but lately that
hasn't been the case for either of us. I haven't posted for a few
months until recently, and neither has Jake. In fact, that will be the
extent to which I justify my posting here, since I don't need your
approval. I made many friends through my years caching in Arizona, and
I keep in touch with the community this way, at least in some cases.
Would you chastise Team Sand Dollar if he was to post here as well? How
about Wyle E, who created some of the most mind numbing puzzle caches
out there?
