Of course, Larry is a credible source! We have had five Jeep GCL and this latest one, a 2005 5.7L Hemi, is truly phenomenal. The ride, the drive train, the clearance has all been remarkably improved. Unfortunately you can't really know this until you get it out on the trail. Before you buy anything, rent one and take it out. Dimensions and clearance are the only thing keeping it from going where Larry goes; the drive is probably better--world class.

We don't need the GPS, but we would be interested in info about Jeeps! We are thinking of buying one and until we started looking at them recently we had no idea there were so many models to choose from! Any advice to share? We do light to moderate 4 wheeling-no boulder hopping but lots of creek beds and mountain back roads. We are looking for something smaller than our F150 4x4 but still powerful.
Also, can anyone tell me what happened to the Deep Southwest site?

Anyone interested a slightly used 76CS. I need to unload this one so I can get a more Jeep friendly model.
