[Az-Geocaching] Needed: advice for my first GPS

Without buying new mapping software, you can't exactly switch brands and
have the same featureset from one vs the other.  The mapping software is
proprietary for each manufacturer out there.

Don't forget that you will probably need at least one software (mapping)
program to get the best use out of whatever unit you buy. I think (and can
tell you that it certainly true for me) that once you invest in the
software, it is very difficult to switch brands.
