Stats that only include those that are interested will have very limited
appeal, if any, I think. I also think that asking people to enter data twice
probably won't work very well.

If you guys consider a Firefox plugin, an idea is to make it generic. For
example, allow the user to enter a list of web sites and URLs to the
processing script on that site. Then you could enlist the support of all
other sites that have the same problem, for example Buxley's, and gain wider
support in the Geocaching community. Perhaps even make it opensource and
list it on sourceforge.
I can't see how this is much different to Google - it mines web pages and
stores databases based on the contents for people to later sift through.

Those that are interested in the stat page could also log them on azgc
com,that way you don't have to crawl gc com.
