Yeah, my data cable is in a box with a bunch of other cables and computer stuff, I'm not sure I would recognize it! ;-)

I know my gps is capable of lots more stuff than I use it for, but I dont know how to work it, but I do how to work it enough to find caches. Heck I do not even know where my data cable is any more.

I think you just hit on the best and worst of caching: "having fun" and "when I get to go". If your current system works for you, that's all that matters. The rest of the stuff is fluff. Learn it when you have a need/interest.

I just hit upon this "method" of caching that made sense to me and basically I haven't learned how to fully use the GPSr!... or map sites, or probably a lot of other stuff, either...! I should try to figure that out one of these days! ;-)
